STUDIO NEWS: Works on show for RMB Pride Month

Rand Merchant Bank’s “Somewhere over the rainbow - a celebration of hopes and dreams” exhibition is in recognition of SA Pride Month and the artists who support the LGBTQIA+ community.

The aim of the exhibition is to challenge the invisibility of queer identity by bringing important LGBTQIA+ stories and experiences to the fore. 

The exhibition is curated to feature over twenty from the LGBTQIA+ artists and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. Participating artists include Jaco Benade, Steven Bosch, Kevin Collins, Carl Collison, Robert Hamblin, Dean Hutton (a.k.a. Goldendean), Louis Kok, Mandisa Mchiza, JP Meyer, Wizile Mgibe, Brett Murray, Luan Nel, Michele Nigrini, Richardt Strydom, ​​Miro van der Vloed and more. 

The exhibition runs from 17 November till 9 December 2021 at Art and About Gallery, 8 Merchant Place, corner of Fredman Drive & Rivonia Road, Sandton.
